Van Ramps And Removalist Ramps

Van ramps and walk boards let removalists, delivery drivers and tradies wheel heavy loads straight into a van instead of lifting them. Below you'll find fixed and folding aluminium ramps built for commercial daily use, with non-slip surfaces and high weight capacities. The choice between fixed and folding comes down to whether the ramp lives in the van or comes out between jobs.

Folding Van Ramps

Folding ramps halve in length for storage, so they stow against the van wall or under a shelf between jobs and don't eat into load space. Best if your van does double duty or if you need the floor clear when the ramp isn't in use. Setup takes seconds with no tools.

Fixed Van Ramps And Walk Boards

Fixed ramps are more rigid and generally carry heavier loads, which makes them the choice for high-volume removalist work where the ramp goes in and out dozens of times a day. Less flex under a loaded trolley means a steadier walk and less fatigue over a shift.

What Size Van Ramp Do I Need?

Capacity should cover the heaviest single load plus the person pushing it — a loaded appliance trolley adds up faster than people expect. Length is driven by your van floor height: the higher the floor, the longer the ramp needs to be to keep the gradient manageable when someone's pushing a full trolley up it. Longer is easier and safer on the back. Our guide on what size loading ramps you need covers the angle maths.
